Hello! I’m John, the founder of Let’s Go Services. I’ve had the privilege of helping families and businesses move for 20 years, but my journey in the moving industry began even earlier. In the early 2000s, I worked for a furniture liquidation company that took me across multiple states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Atlantic City, and throughout New Jersey. Those years on the road provided hands-on experience in a wide range of moving environments and challenges.
During that time, I learned the true craft of moving—how to carefully handle delicate items, safely manage heavy and oversized furniture, and navigate tight stairwells, narrow doorways, and complex spaces. Each move required thoughtful planning and creative problem-solving, whether it meant finding the right angles or safely moving items through attics or windows. These experiences sharpened what I call my “moving eye,” allowing me to assess each situation and execute moves efficiently and safely.
Today, Let’s Go Services proudly handles local, in-state, out-of-state, and long-distance moves—wherever your move may require. We bring skill, professionalism, and genuine care to every job, treating your home and belongings with the same respect we would expect for our own. The Meaning Behind the Name
Built on Care, Respect, and Hard Work
Moving gave me something no other job ever had—purpose. Every move came with trust: customers inviting me into their homes, relying on me during stressful moments, and appreciating the care and effort it took to make their day easier. That trust shaped how I work and why I do what I do.
The name Let’s Go Services is inspired by my best friend, Jermaine “Nemo” James, who passed away in 2007. Nemo was always on the move—full of ambition, positivity, and that unmistakable “let’s go!” energy. He believed in me, believed in my work, and wanted to invest in my dream. Naming the company after his phrase keeps his spirit alive in everything we do.
What began with a small van grew into a bigger van, then a full moving truck—and today, we proudly serve customers across the area. Let’s Go Services is built on loyalty, hard work, and doing right by people—the same values Nemo lived by and the same standards we bring to every job.

Before Let’s Go Services became a business, I was known as the guy who could move anything — even with a small Astro van. One move changed everything: a customer doubted I could move her whole home with that little van. I told her, “One trip or two — I’ll get it done.”
